How we decide what to recommend, and how we keep it honest.

How we rank options

Our recommendations are based on how useful an option is to a traveler:

  • Practical usefulness for a real cruise trip
  • Distance and convenience to the terminal
  • Price and value
  • Whether a reliable booking path exists
  • Fit for a traveler type (first-time, family, senior, accessible, fly-in)
  • Clarity and reliability of the provider's information

Commissions do not buy placement

Some links are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure), but commission is only ever a secondary business consideration — never the reason an option is recommended or ranked higher.

Verification and updates

Cruise logistics change. We show a last-updated state on our guides, note when details still need verification, and link to official sources so you can confirm current facts. We ask readers to verify time-sensitive details — prices, shuttle times, accessibility — directly with the provider before booking.

Accessibility language

We provide practical accessibility prompts, not guarantees. We won't claim a property or transfer is accessible unless that is verified through the provider's current information.
